HEY! I’m JIMMY Zhnang!

a software engineering student, and also a game designer.

I first got into making video games in middle school, where we had an elective course teaching the visual programming language Scratch. I picked up video game designing as a hobby around that time, as I had been playing video games for 10 years at that point of time and had always dreamed of making some of my own. Since then, I've been actively participating in game-making, been to multiple game jams and working in an indie studio to this day. It has been my life passion to create great games designs that would make myself proud. To me, games are a great way of willingly enforcing people's focus onto a given task and lead them into a state of flow and pleasure, which has huge potential in all industries and everyone's daily lifestyles. I want to explore the possibilies of art games, or discover new fun game mechanics, and I'd also love to explore more about serious games, like programming games or games as solutions to real-life issues.
